At Walton Heath, the quality of the hospitality matches the quality of the golf. Members and guests are welcomed with the same warmth and friendly service that defines “The Walton Way.” Led by Sharon Rogers, Hanna Clements and their team, the clubhouse offers a relaxed yet refined setting in which to enjoy the day’s golf.
There are several spaces in which to unwind. The comfortable Renshaw Room is perfect for informal relaxation, while the larger Braid Room, named after our legendary first Professional James Braid, is ideal for gatherings, presentations and prize-giving.
Hospitality at Walton Heath is renowned. Under the guidance of Head Chef Giovanni De Rossa, the kitchen produces generous, beautifully prepared dishes using the finest ingredients. Members and visitors alike look forward to favourites such as the “Sandwich of the Week,” homemade desserts including Treacle Sponge and Sticky Toffee Pudding, the ever-popular Sunday Carvery and the summer Grand Buffet. We use local suppliers whenever possible and have close ties with the village Butcher and Bakery. It is this attention to detail that sets Walton Heath apart.
Dining takes place in two elegant rooms. The Fowler Room, named after course designer Herbert Fowler, provides a more intimate setting for smaller groups, while the Holderness Dining Room can host larger gatherings and celebrations.
Outside, the colonial-style terrace offers one of the finest places to relax after a round, overlooking Walton Heath’s famous putting green. Sitting there with a drink in hand, watching golfers finish their day on the heath, you could easily feel a million miles from anywhere.
The bar serves a carefully selected range of wines, craft beers and local ales, including those from Pilgrim Brewery, alongside an extensive wine list and the Club’s unique Members’ Wine Wall. A wide selection of low and no-alcohol options ensures everyone can enjoy the occasion.
